The Conference of Gazprom PJSC «Gas transportation systems: present and future» (GTS-2015), which was held in Gazprom VNIIGAZ LLC on October 28 and 29, 2015, was attended by 430 leading specialists from 155 companies from 8 countries: Germany, Norway, Poland, Belarus, Russia, France, Czech Republic and Japan. The exhibition of the same name was held within the frameworks of the Conference and was attended by 19 companies.

V.A. Markelov, Deputy Chairman of the Gazprom PJSC Management Committee, and P.N. Zavalny, Chairman of the Energy Committee, Russian State Duma, addressed their greetings and wishes of fruitful work to the participants and guests of the Conference.

The Conference GTS-2015 was opened by D.V. Lyugay, Director General of Gazprom VNIIGAZ LLC, and S.V. Alimov, First Deputy Head of the Department of Gazprom PJSC, which made a program report about the directions of scientific, technical and innovation development of the gas transportation system of Gazprom PJSC.

The participants of the Conference showed particular interest to the reports of the plenary meeting devoted to strategic planning of gas transport systems development, the management developments in Unified Gas Supply System, new diagnostic systems, the practical aspects of international cooperation of Gazprom Group and foreign companies in the field of GTS technologies development.

In more details and in broader terms the scientific and technical tasks and problems of this industrial sector were discussed during five sessions of GTS-2015 Conference. The experts discussed the experience of development of main gas pipeline sector; design, construction and operation of compressor stations, management and control of technical condition and integrity of GTS, tubular goods and welding technologies, as well as construction, repair and corrosion protection of gas transportation facilities.

The high-level of presented subject reports were noted by the chairmen of sessions at the Closing Plenary meeting.
