PJSC GAZPROM, Gazprom VNIIGAZ LLC, Gubkin Russian State University of Oil and Gas are holding October 14 and 15, 2021 the VII International Scientific and Technical Conference “Computer Technologies of Decision Making Support in Dispatching Management of Gas Transmission and Producing Systems" (DISCOM-2021).

Purpose of the Conference:

Introduction of advanced scientific and technical developments and exchange of experience in the area of application of information technologies for the management of operating conditions of gas transmission and producing systems.

Conference participants:

Representatives of Russian and Foreign enterprises, joint stock companies, universities, Scientific-Research and Design Institutes.

The Conference Program: includes the Plenary Session, Technical Panels and the Closing Unit.

October 14, 2021:

10:00 — 17:00 — Plenary Session: Welcoming Gazprom’s Key Executives, Presentations of keynote speakers.

October 15, 2021:

09:00 — 18:00 — Technical panels;

17:30 — 18:00 — Closing unit.

Panel A: Automated systems and computer technologies in gas production, transmission and distribution:

  • management systems;
  • data collection systems;
  • information display systems;
  • computer programs for dispatcher’s applied problems;
  • complex import substitution of automated dispatch systems;
  • problems and prospects of implementing template solutions for comprehensive automation of the dispatch management process at the level of subsidiaries.

Panel В: Decision making support systems in dispatching management of gas transmission and producing systems:

  • decision making software packages;
  • modeling of systems and facilities;
  • computer training simulators;
  • regulations and standards governing modeling processes and software package development;
  • new methods and approaches suggested for application in modeling processes;
  • solving environmental problems using computer systems for dispatch control of gas transportation and gas production systems.

Panel C: Artificial intelligence technologies in dispatch control of gas supply systems:

  • prospects for the use of artificial intelligence and machine learning technologies to solve the problems of dispatch control of gas supply systems;
  • issues of improving the procedures for planning, monitoring, analysis and control of operating modes of gas supply systems using artificial intelligence technologies;
  • the pilot projects discussion on creation of new computational algorithms and software complexes for simulation and optimization of stationary and non-stationary modes of operation of gas transmission system (GTS) and Unified Gas Supply System (UGSS).
